Collaboration with Clemson University

The CSU Chico Atmospheric Lidar Research Group began a collaboration with Prof. Chenning Tong at Clemson University in 2021. CSU Chico's role is to derive 2D vector flow fields from atmospheric lidar data that can be used to compute turbulence statistics to test multipoint Monin-Obukhov Similarity Theory (MOST).

For more information on the M2HATS experiment that resulted from this collaboration, please see the webpage hosted by UCAR. Details of the REAL at M2HATS can be found here.
