Ongoing To-do List:
• Write comparison algorithm
• Upload whiteboard pictures
• Link my code with typhoon
• Finish migrating log
Today I continued experimenting with MatPlotLib; it has some very strange syntax involving complex munbers, even when you'rs only dealing with real data. But I got a some great vector flow fields generated from Typhoon's output, complete with color map (I really need to catch up with uploading images here, but I'm having some complications. It looks like I have the option of using custom color maps, which should make it easy to accomplish what Dr. Mayor wanted in that area.

I emailed Dr. Richter regarding my confusion about wind direction; Lexi tells me that sometimes meteorologists indicate wind direction by pointing at it, but that still doesn't make the data quite right.
