REAL Observations of Vortices


This page presents examples of REAL observations of atmospheric vortices observed in Dixon and Chico, California. The circulations fall within the meteorological microscale and within the atmospheric boundary layer. The cases have been selected by human inspection of the time-lapse animations. Additional cases will be added as they are discovered.
