Ryan Clare graduated in May of 2016 with a BS in Environmental Science and an emphasis in Atmosphere and Climate.
He began graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in fall of 2016 in the Research Group of
Dr. Ankur Desai.
Ryan joined the CSU Chico Atmospheric Lidar Research group in May of 2014. His first projects were to catalog and identify various meteorological phenomena in the archived
Lidar data as well as create and maintain various aspects of the website. He created case studies with time-lapse animations for my example webpages on vortices,
mesoscale fronts, billows, and marine environments.
Ryan also gained quite a bit of hardware and field experience while studying at Chico State. He assisted with lidar operations and the set up of in situ meteorological sensors at the University Farm from time to time.
