January 2023 Meeting of the American Meteorological Society in Denver, Colorado

Four Chico State Environmental Science undergraduates (from left to right in photo below: Kevin Scheive, Julia Colombini, Justin Hicks, and Alejandro Espinoza) and Dr. Mayor (right) traveled to Denver, Colorado from 8-12 January of 2023 to participate in the annual meeting of the American Meteorological Society (AMS). All of the students assisted the AMS in executing the conference by serving as hosts. Three of the four students and Dr. Mayor presented NSF-funded research posters. We thank the NSF, The College of Natural Sciences, and the AMS for supporting the trip.
